Woowa Brothers announced on the 22nd that their foodservice ingredient platform 'Baemin Sanghoe' has surpassed 920,000 cumulative members and 9 million cumulative orders in seven years. Baemin Sanghoe was launched in 2017 to help foodservice business owners conveniently and quickly purchase ingredients and various supplies in one place. The goal was to reduce intermediate distribution processes and supply ingredients and delivery supplies quickly and affordably.
Baemin Sanghoe has formed partnerships with over 1,400 collaborators, including leading domestic food manufacturers and distributors such as CJ CheilJedang, Daesang, Ottogi, and Foodist, supplying ingredients and items needed by restaurants at low prices. They have consistently introduced delivery containers designed with insulation, sealing, and usability in mind to ensure food is safely delivered to consumers. For example, the shaved ice container released in 2022 was made using functional new materials to maintain cooling without the need for ice packs. They have also introduced delivery containers and vinyl made from eco-friendly materials. The reuse rate of foodservice business owners using Baemin Sanghoe reaches 71%.
