The Human Factors and Ergonomics Design Awards are the most prestigious awards in the field of ergonomic design in Korea. They evaluate and award based on usability, efficiency, functionality, safety, and emotional quality from the user's perspective.
The society highly praised the LG CLOi ServeBot for its operational efficiency, allowing adjustment of shelves and partitions according to the user environment or delivered items. It also received positive reviews for its stable mobility, equipped with independent suspension on six wheels, LiDAR sensors, and 3D cameras.
The LG CLOi ServeBot shelf type is designed to allow adjustment of shelf height. The shelf area is designed wide to enable easy and stable transfer of contents. The drawer type allows users to open and close the storage compartment door without touching it. It also has security features requiring a set code to check the contents.
Additionally, the LG CLOi ServeBot received the Innovation Award at CES 2024, the world's largest IT and electronics exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA, in January. It also won the top prize at the German Red Dot Design Award, one of the world's top three design awards.
The LG SIGNATURE Washer-Dryer won the Best Product Award. It was designed using human body data to minimize neck and waist bending when loading or unloading laundry.
