Various Programs on the Theme of 'Health' Conducted
Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced that the summer vacation children's health program "Dreaming Healthy Relay" will be held from the 24th to the 27th.
"Dreaming Healthy Relay" is a health-specialized program for elementary school students in the area during summer vacation, focusing on healthy eating education, physical activities, and reading activities.
The program consists of a picture book program themed on health, a nutrition program, an exercise program, and porcelain painting.
In the picture book program, participants read the book "Witch's Restaurant" together, reflect on picky eating and respecting preferences, and take time to rethink everything we know.
In the nutrition program, children learn proper snack consumption nutrition education to improve eating habits and make a healthy seasonal vegetable snack called "Prince Cheese Potato" themselves.
The exercise program includes cooperative physical activities for fitness improvement such as two-person palm running, the "Welcome" game, and gym ball exercises.
In the porcelain painting activity, participants read the book "Suspicious Snack Shop," paint theme-related pictures on porcelain plates, and take on a challenge to eat healthy food on the plates they made themselves during the vacation.
Additionally, participants can complete health missions for each program and receive gifts through certification.
