Go Nam-seok, Former Yeonsu District Mayor, Appointed Chairman of Incheon Democratic Party
Former Incheon Yeonsu District Mayor Go Nam-seok was elected as the next chairman of the Democratic Party's Incheon City Party. The term is two years.
The Democratic Party's Incheon City Party announced on the 20th that former Yeonsu District Mayor Go Nam-seok was elected as the next city party chairman, defeating his opponent, National Assembly member Maeng Seong-gyu (Incheon Namdong-gap).
At the regular party members' meeting held at Namdong Gymnasium that day, former Mayor Go received 51.89% of the votes. This was 3.78 percentage points higher than Assemblyman Maeng's 48.11% vote share.

Former Mayor Go served as Yeonsu District Mayor twice, from 2010 to 2014 and from 2018 to 2022, and he ran for a third term in the recent local election but was defeated.
