Jeonnam Fire Academy conducted emergency first aid training for new police officers.
On the 18th, according to the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters (Chief Oh Seung-hoon), two paramedic instructors from Jeonnam Fire Academy provided training on airway obstruction and cardiopulmonary resuscitation to 100 newly assigned police officers at the Jeonnam Police Agency the day before.
The training increased focus by using emergency first aid response cases as examples and provided practical assistance to participants through hands-on training.
The training focused on emergency cases involving fire and police, assessment and treatment of airway obstruction, and evaluation and response to cardiac arrest patients. Automated external defibrillator training was conducted through scenario exercises to enhance realism.
