Most N-jobbers Are in Their 30s and 40s... Investing an Average of 1 Hour per Day

The largest group of 'N-jobbers'?people who work a salaried job and simultaneously engage in other jobs during their spare time?are in their 40s. The average time invested in N-jobs is about one hour per day, with an average monthly income of less than 500,000 KRW.
On the 18th, Haejuseyo Company released the results of an N-jobber survey conducted among 1,432 partners active on the errand app 'Haejuseyo.' The generation most engaged in N-jobs was those in their 40s at 38.7%, followed by those in their 30s at 33.3%. Next were people in their 20s at 13.5%, 50s at 11.5%, and those aged 60 and above at 2.9%.
The most common response regarding daily time invested in N-jobs was an average of one hour at 30.9%, followed by two hours at 19.4%, three hours at 16.39%, four hours at 9.5%, five hours at 6%, and six hours or more at 17.8%.
The monthly income earned through N-jobs was less than 500,000 KRW for 54% of respondents, ranking first. Income between 500,000 KRW and less than 1,000,000 KRW accounted for 14%, and between 1,000,000 KRW and less than 2,000,000 KRW was 13.39%. Income between 2,000,000 KRW and less than 3,000,000 KRW was 8.7%, between 3,000,000 KRW and less than 4,000,000 KRW was 3.6%, and between 4,000,000 KRW and less than 5,000,000 KRW was 1.6%.
The top reason for choosing N-jobs was that existing sources of income, such as a regular job, were insufficient to cover living expenses. Next, many respondents preferred freelance employment over working at a single company. The third most common response was a desire to enhance their own expertise through N-jobs.
