Global Expansion Plans Based on Eco Technology
The resident company "Twoen" at the Advanced Medical Convergence Textile Center of Gyeongbuk Technopark received an award at the "2024 Tech Open Collaboration" hosted by SK Ecoplant on the 16th.

View original imageThe 2024 Tech Open Collaboration, hosted by the Korea International Trade Association and SK Ecoplant, selects startups (limited to pre-foundation or companies within 7 years of establishment) possessing innovative technologies/solutions in the fields of eco-friendly and energy technology to propose to SK Ecoplant. The selected companies receive awards as well as benefits such as joint technology development and commercialization opportunities.
Founded in 2021, Twoen moved into the factory building at the Advanced Medical Convergence Textile Center of Gyeongbuk Technopark in 2023, and has been developing core technologies in the secondary battery and eco-friendly industry sectors.
In particular, with the goal of achieving the world's first commercialization of M/D refining equipment, the company is planning global expansion through eco-technologies such as seawater desalination, wastewater purification, and water purification, as well as oil-water separation and high-frequency-based pyrolysis oil production in cooperation with Japan's MCC Corporation.
Ha Inseong, President of Gyeongbuk Technopark, said, "We are delighted to have achieved the remarkable feat of winning the 2024 Tech Open Collaboration," and added, "We will spare no effort to support Twoen so that it can grow into a leading company in the next-generation energy industry."
