High School Student Synthesized and Distributed Nude Photos of Junior... Police Booked Without Detention
A high school student in Jinju, Gyeongnam, has been investigated by the police for superimposing a junior's face onto nude photos and distributing them.
On the 17th, Yonhap News reported that "the Gyeongnam Provincial Police Agency has booked teenage boy A without detention on charges including violation of the Child and Youth Protection Act and is currently investigating him."
Boy A is accused of superimposing the face photo of teenage girl B, a junior from the same area, onto nude photos and distributing them on social networking services (SNS). So far, there is no indication that the photos were sold.
Girl B, who learned of this through acquaintances, immediately reported it to the police. Boy A admitted to the crime during the police investigation.
