Naju-si Conducts Capacity Building Training for Officials in Charge of Public Pledge Projects in the 8th Elected Term
Naju City in Jeollanam-do recently conducted a capacity-building training session for officials in charge of the campaign pledges of the 8th local government at the city hall's main conference room.
According to the city on the 17th, this training was organized to enhance public officials' proper understanding of the manifesto, aiming for the successful implementation of the 8th local government’s campaign pledges.
The training featured a special lecture titled "Rewriting Local Autonomy Resilience" delivered by Lee Kwang-jae, Secretary General of the Korea Manifesto Practice Headquarters.

View original imageLecturer Lee Kwang-jae generously shared insights on mindset shifts to prepare for the diverse and complex era of hyper-uncertainty, understanding manifesto pledge projects, and systematic pledge management and implementation know-how with public officials.
In particular, he presented various strategies and practical measures to enhance the resilience of local autonomy, focusing on strengthening the capabilities of practitioners, which drew empathy and positive responses from the staff.
Mayor Yoon Byung-tae stated, "Strengthening the capabilities of those in charge is essential for the successful promotion of the 8th local government’s campaign pledges. I hope that through this training, employees will be able to effectively carry out the pledge projects," adding, "We will continue to improve the completeness of the pledge projects through ongoing education and support to provide better administrative services to citizens."
Meanwhile, the city plans to steadily enhance the professionalism of public officials and faithfully implement the pledge projects through continuous education and programs aimed at efficient promotion of pledge projects and strengthening the resilience of local autonomy.
