View original imageGyeonggi Province approved the completion of the 'Gimpo Hakun 5 General Industrial Complex' located in Hakun-ri, Yangchon-eup, Gimpo City on the 17th.
The Gimpo Hakun 5 General Industrial Complex was developed through a private development method, starting construction in October 2020 and completing the site development in 3 years and 9 months.
With a total area of 893,190.4㎡, it consists of 534,608.8㎡ of industrial facility land, 31,542.1㎡ of support facility land, 297,987.2㎡ of public facility land, and 29,052.3㎡ of other facility land.
Fifteen industries, including machinery and equipment, metal processing, and chemical products, are scheduled to move in.
Gyeonggi Province expects that once sales are completed, the complex will create 5,300 new jobs and increase tax revenue, thereby revitalizing the local economy.
In particular, to create an eco-friendly industrial complex, the district unit plan and basic management plan include recommendations for the use of eco-friendly renewable energy such as solar power in each industrial facility upon occupancy.

Woo Byung-bae, Director of the Industrial Location Division of Gyeonggi Province, stated, "The development of the Gimpo Hakun 5 General Industrial Complex within the Gimpo Gold Valley, the largest industrial cluster in the northwest metropolitan area, is expected to create synergy effects through linkage with surrounding industrial complexes such as the Incheon Geomdan Industrial Complex."
