Kakao Games Subsidiary Ocean Drive to Showcase Three New Titles at Gamescom
Three Premium Indie Games for PC and Console Submitted
Kakao Games announced on the 16th that its development subsidiary Ocean Drive Studio will showcase three new global titles for PC and console at Gamescom 2024, held in Cologne, Germany, this August.
Ocean Drive Studio will have booths in both the B2C and B2B areas, introducing three new titles: Lost Idolrons: The Witch of Hypocrisy, Section 13, and God Save Birmingham.
Lost Idolrons: The Witch of Hypocrisy is a turn-based role-playing game (RPG) featuring roguelike elements, where the game layout changes randomly with each playthrough.
Section 13 is a reinterpretation of Ocean Drive Studio’s cooperative shooting game Blackout Protocol, released last year, as an action roguelike shooting game, characterized by significantly enhanced story and gameplay elements.
God Save Birmingham is a title being unveiled for the first time at this year’s Gamescom. It is a survival game set in medieval Birmingham, England, during a zombie outbreak.

Kim Hee-jae, CEO of Ocean Drive Studio, said, “This event is an opportunity to present the results of development teams actively incorporating community feedback to users,” adding, “Our main goal is to directly observe users’ reactions on-site at Gamescom.”
