Incheon Ongjin-gun Supports 80% of Ferry Fares for Homecoming Travelers During Chuseok Holiday
Incheon Ongjin-gun will support ferry fares for visitors traveling to the islands during this year's Chuseok holiday.
According to Ongjin-gun on the 19th, from September 14 to 19, including the Chuseok holiday, visitors to five myeon (townships)?Yeonpyeong-myeon, Baengnyeong-myeon, Daecheong-myeon, Deokjeok-myeon, and Jawol-myeon?will receive support covering 80% of the round-trip ferry fare.
To receive support, island residents who are relatives of the visitors must apply at the myeon office or Ongjin-gun Office by September 11. After being selected as eligible for the visitor fare support, the visitors can proceed with discounted reservations.
Ongjin-gun has been implementing this support program since last year's Lunar New Year holiday to reduce the economic burden on visitors during holiday periods.
