Gyeonggi Office of Education Holds 'Regional Communication' with 950 Kindergarten and Daycare Staff
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education is set to hold a meeting to communicate with kindergarten and daycare center personnel for the first time nationwide.
On the 16th, the Office announced that the Integrated Early Childhood Education Promotion Team, jointly formed with Gyeonggi Province, will hold the "Gyeonggi Province Education and Childcare Field Visit Regional Meetings" on the 17th, 19th, and 25th of this month in three regions: Northern Gyeonggi, Central-Western Gyeonggi, and Southeastern Gyeonggi.
The meetings will be attended by 200 childcare officials from 31 cities and counties within the province, along with 950 kindergarten and daycare center personnel.
The main agenda items include ▲ sharing the results of the first phase of the Gyeonggi Province childcare field visit survey ▲ sharing the status of the Office of Education’s integrated early childhood education promotion ▲ explanation of the Ministry of Education’s "Pilot Project Plan for Infant and Toddler Schools" ▲ and listening to opinions from kindergarten and daycare center personnel.
Through these meetings, the Integrated Early Childhood Education Promotion Team plans to assess the current status of early childhood education and childcare projects, build consensus on integration, and establish a foundation for the management system of kindergartens and daycare centers.

Kang Eun-ha, head of the Integrated Early Childhood Education Preparation Team at the Office of Education, stated, "We will meet directly with kindergarten and daycare center personnel from 31 cities and counties in the province to hear their vivid voices from the field," adding, "We expect this meeting to be an important stepping stone to improving the quality of early childhood education and childcare."
