Car Overturns in Seongbuk-gu Apartment Complex
4 Hospitalized... 4 Vehicles Including Passenger Car Damaged
At around 2 p.m. on the 13th, a car carrying a driver in his 70s, Mr. A, and his family overturned after hitting a parked vehicle and several motorcycles at an apartment complex in Donam-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul.
According to the Seongbuk Police Station in Seoul, Mr. A and his son, who was in the front passenger seat, sustained serious injuries in the accident. Mr. A's daughter-in-law and teenage grandson, who were in the back seat, suffered minor injuries, and all four were transported to the hospital.
Mr. A told the police officers who arrived at the scene that "there was something wrong with the vehicle." It is known that he was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
