Samsung Electronics Service announced on the 12th that it has dispatched a special service team to areas affected by heavy rain and has begun flood damage recovery efforts.
Samsung Electronics Service established flood recovery service bases in Gang-gyeong-eup, Nonsan-si, Chungnam Province, Unju-myeon, Wanju-gun, Jeonbuk Province the day before, and Yongchon-dong, Seo-gu, Daejeon Metropolitan City on the same day, and started support activities. The flood recovery service team inspects the condition of submerged electronic products and provides services such as cleaning contaminants and replacing parts.
On the 11th, a Samsung Electronics service engineer is seen cleaning and inspecting water-damaged home appliances in Yeongdong-gun, Chungbuk.

In Ipam-myeon, Yeongyang-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, and Yeongdong-gun, Chungbuk Province, where flooding damage occurred over a wide area, service engineers plan to directly visit affected households to support flood recovery.
Additionally, if a customer reports to the Samsung Electronics Service contact center that "an appliance has been submerged," an engineer will visit and provide the same flood recovery services.
