Three Men in Their 20s Arrested for Shooting BB Pellets at Pedestrians in Downtown Gangnam at Dawn
Three men in their 20s who shot BB pellets at pedestrians in the heart of Gangnam, Seoul, were arrested by the police.
The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced on the 11th that they arrested three men in their early 20s at their residences on charges of special assault around 1:30 PM.
According to the police, the suspects are accused of firing BB pellets at random citizens near Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, at around 3:35 AM that day.
Police investigations revealed that they fired the BB pellets after stopping their car while driving.
A pedestrian who was hit by the BB pellets reported the incident to the police, but since the shooting distance was far, no injuries were confirmed.
The suspects are said to have been high school seniors and juniors, and during the police investigation, they stated that it was done out of "curiosity and mischief."

A police official said, "The firearm was a BB pellet rifle legally purchased, and there appears to be no illegal modification, but we are keeping all possibilities open during the investigation."
