Chrysler Recalls 332,000 Vehicles
German automaker BMW is recalling more than 390,000 vehicles in the United States due to an airbag defect.
On the 10th (local time), according to major U.S. media, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced that BMW is recalling over 390,000 vehicles due to the possibility of airbag inflator (the device that inflates the airbag) explosions. The affected vehicles include certain sedans and sports wagons.
NHTSA explained that if the airbag inflator explodes, metal fragments could be propelled toward the driver and passengers, potentially causing death or injury.
