Miryang City, Gyeongnam announced that on the 8th, it held training for the selected participants of the '2024 Summer Youth Part-time Job Program' at the City Hall auditorium. The training covered understanding the Occupational Safety and Health Act, types of workplace safety and health incidents and response methods, as well as mental health promotion and suicide prevention education.

On the same day, a special lecture was also held to support youth job seekers, including tips on writing AI-powered self-introduction letters. The selected youths will be assigned to various departments at City Hall, administrative welfare centers in towns and villages, social welfare facilities, and cultural facilities, where they will work until the 19th of next month.
The city recruited this year's summer youth part-time workers from June 10 to 24, targeting unemployed youths aged 18 to 39 who are registered residents of Miryang. A total of 92 people were finally selected (18 through special screening and 74 through general screening).
