A teacher at an elementary school in the Gyeonggi area was sent to prosecution without detention on charges of sexually assaulting students under his supervision.
On the 9th, the Women and Juvenile Investigation Unit of the Northern Gyeonggi Police Agency announced that male teacher A (20) was sent to prosecution without detention on charges of forcibly sexually assaulting a minor.
Earlier, A is accused of sexually assaulting seven female students in his homeroom class while working at an elementary school in Pocheon City last year. The incident was revealed by the parents of the female students, who reported A's assault to the police and the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education.
The school stated that A was separated from the students, and the provincial education office removed A from his position.
