Kim Young-guk, Director of Aviation Policy at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, said, "The limited traffic rights on the Korea regional-Manila route have made it difficult for domestic airlines to add flights. This change will revitalize regional airports, improve convenience for air travelers, and support Korean businesses expanding into the Philippines."
