Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon met with Han Dong-hoon, the People Power Party's presidential candidate, to discuss and find common ground on Seoul's 'Accompanying the Vulnerable' policies such as Seoul Run and Guaranteed Income.
On the 5th, Mayor Oh met Han at the Donghaeng Restaurant in the Dongja-dong gosiwon village in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, where they had breakfast together. Donghaeng Restaurant is also part of Seoul's initiative to accompany the vulnerable, designating certain restaurants near the gosiwon village to support residents by allowing them to choose a meal from one of these places once a day.

If you provide successful and proven ideas, we will try to expand programs like 'Seoul Run' nationwide." Seoul Run is a flagship policy of Mayor Oh that offers vulnerable students free access to popular private online lectures.
Earlier, in an interview with Channel A, Mayor Oh stated, "If there is a candidate who agrees with Seoul's spirit of accompanying the vulnerable and adopts it as a party policy to nationalize it, I will support that candidate."
Mayor Oh responded, "The number of students entering good universities has increased significantly, and the results are excellent. It would be meaningful to spread this nationwide. I hope our party will do something like that."
They also discussed the 'Guaranteed Income' program, which recently marked its second anniversary. Mayor Oh introduced it by saying, "(Guaranteed Income) sets a certain threshold and provides assistance in a graduated manner. The rate of escaping basic livelihood security is 4.8%, which experts say is groundbreaking."
After the meal, Candidate Han told reporters, "There are many things among Seoul's policies for the vulnerable, the common people, and moderates that have been empirically successful and that the party will adopt."
