Namseoul University Conducts Short-Term Language Training for Romanian International Students

Namseoul University is taking the lead in spreading Korean culture by conducting a short-term language training program for Romanian students.
The program, held for two weeks starting from the 24th of last month, recruited language trainees interested in Korea through the Korean Language Institute in Romania. As a result, 19 students consisting of high school students, university students, and office workers are participating in the program.
The Romanian students are experiencing various Korean cultural activities such as cultural exchanges with Namseoul University students, K-POP dance, glass and pottery workshops, and are visiting representative Korean tourist attractions including Gyeongbokgung Palace, Jeonju Hanok Village, and Yongin Everland.

Lee Sang-bin, Director of International Exchange at Namseoul University, said, “Through the short-term training activities, I hope that not only positive educational effects about Korean traditions will be achieved, but also that the participants can create good memories with Korean university students and build international friendships.”
