Gwangju Bank Delivers Sponsorship Goods to Energy-Vulnerable Groups
Gwangju Bank announced on the 4th that it has donated sponsorship goods worth 35 million KRW to support energy-vulnerable groups in having a cool summer.
The sponsorship goods consist of summer kits including circulators and bottled water, which will be delivered to vulnerable groups with high energy cost burdens, such as single-parent families and low-income households.
Gwangju Bank raised funds through the online social contribution platform ‘Bankit’ of the Korea Federation of Banks. Employees and the general public participate in support by ‘liking, sharing, and commenting,’ and the number of support participations is matched with donations to help energy-vulnerable groups struggling through the hot summer heatwave.
