Cheongsong County's Top Filial Son '8282 Civil Complaints Task Force' Officially Promoted
The '8282 Civil Complaint Handling T/F Team' of Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk, was officially promoted to a formal team as of July 1.

View original imageThe 8282 Civil Complaint Handling T/F Team, which has received great response as a lifestyle-focused service addressing minor civil complaints in daily life, achieved the milestone of becoming an official team just 1 year and 10 months after its formation as a T/F team on September 1, 2022.
In the first half of this year, the 8282 Civil Complaint Handling Team received a total of 3,360 cases from 1,372 households, of which 3,370 cases from 1,353 households?98.6%?were resolved. Compared to the same period last year, the number of cases received and processed has steadily increased, proving the effectiveness and popularity of the 8282 Civil Complaint Handling Service.
In May, the team actively promoted its services by visiting the township sports events and senior citizen parties held in the area. Other local governments, such as Hadong-gun in Gyeongnam, Gunwi-gun in Daegu, and Danyang-gun in Chungbuk, also visited Cheongsong for benchmarking purposes.
Hwang Geumhwa, head of the 8282 Civil Complaint Handling Team, said, "I am delighted that the team's official promotion feels like a reward for all the hard work we've put in," adding, "I will continue to work diligently and responsibly until the day every resident can benefit from the 8282 service."
Governor Yoon Kyunghee commented, "Whenever seniors tell me they can finally sleep comfortably at night thanks to the 8282 Civil Complaint Handling Team fixing torn screens that used to let in bugs during the summer, I feel a great sense of fulfillment as governor," adding, "I will continue to strive to develop high-impact policies that residents can truly feel, just like the 8282 service."
