At the tea meeting attended by about 40 residents, including Village Chief Seong Mingeon, Senior Citizens' Association President Cho Sinmyeong, and Development Committee Chairman Kim Eonho, discussions were held regarding the establishment of a ready-mixed concrete factory that was reported for construction in Sinyong-ri last March. The residents firmly expressed their opinion that the factory should not be established for the sake of their health, environmental protection, and stable farming activities, and asked for Representative Cho's attention to the matter.
Representative Cho stated, "Representative Jung Jumsik, who serves this constituency, is working passionately in various fields for the region. I will also pay close attention and work hard for the development of my hometown, Goseong."
After the tea meeting, Representative Cho toured his birthplace and the surrounding village, then concluded his visit to his hometown with a luncheon meeting with County Governor Lee Sanggeun.
