Busan Office of Education Launches "20 Minutes Immersed in Books" Video Challenge
Activating Reading Change... Spreading an Enjoyable Reading Culture
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education is accelerating the activation of the second phase of Busan-style character education, 'Reading Change.'
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education will operate the '20-Minute Immersive Reading Video Challenge' for elementary, middle, and high schools in the Busan area until the 17th.
This event aims to promote immersive reading time and to share and spread best practices of 'Chaekmoli' (immersive reading).
To create an environment and atmosphere for immersive reading, the office developed and distributed a 'Chaekmoli Logo Song' last April. The logo song is being used for school bells, as well as in-school and external reading events.
Students wishing to participate in the challenge should, by July 14, upload a video of themselves practicing '20 minutes of immersive reading' or using the Chaekmoli logo song for choir, dance, campaign, promotional video, advertisement, or interview to their personal SNS accounts with the three hashtags #BusanReading #ReadingChange #20MinutesImmersiveReading, and tag the official Chaekmoli SNS account.
Video submissions will be accepted via email from July 15 to 17, along with the application form and the original video file.
