The Sacheon City Facilities Management Corporation in Gyeongnam has carried out a comprehensive organizational restructuring and a large-scale personnel reshuffle for change and innovation. This organizational restructuring, along with promotions, transfers, and the conversion of non-regular workers to regular positions, will take effect from July 1.
The corporation reorganized with a focus on improving the profitability of the Sacheon Bada Cable Car business, expanding its organization and functions, and establishing an efficient and responsible management system for environmental infrastructure facilities.
The Cable Car Operations Team will be renamed the Cable Car Business Team and will take over responsibilities such as establishing and implementing strategies to attract cable car tourists, managing group tourists and travel agencies, and providing incentives?tasks previously handled by the Management Planning Team.
Additionally, the Sewage Treatment Facility Team will be divided into Environmental Facilities Team 1 and Team 2 to strengthen functions and expertise. Team 1 will operate the Sacheon area public sewage treatment facility, small-scale public sewage treatment facilities, and laboratories, while Team 2 will manage the Samcheonpo area public sewage treatment facility, sewage sludge, and waste treatment facilities.
In particular, the corporation will reorganize its job grade system, establishing a new general staff grade from grades 2 to 7 (previously grades 3 to 7), and changing the position structure to Assistant Director (grade 4), Director (grade 3), and Senior Director (grade 2).
Accordingly, a total of 114 personnel changes will be made, including 15 promotions, 94 transfers, and 5 conversions to regular positions, along with adjustments to staffing by grade and workforce restructuring.
Chairman Han Jaecheon stated, "We have designed the organization to bring a new wave of innovation, including optimal placement of personnel," and added, "We will do our best to foster professional talent and create a specialized organizational culture to deliver public services that customers and citizens can truly experience."
