"Propose at Yangjaecheon"... Send Your Story to Media Glass
Seocho-gu Operates 'Yangjaecheon Story Bridge'
Anyone Can Apply for Desired Stories Starting Next Month 1st
Seocho-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jeon Seong-su) announced on the 27th that starting from the 1st of next month, it will begin operating the ‘Yangjaecheon Bridge with Stories,’ which broadcasts various stories from residents on the Yangjaecheon Media Glass.
The Media Glass, first installed on the Maehyeon Bridge over Yangjaecheon in 2019, is a facility that decorates the Yangjaecheon scenery at night after sunset and allows residents to enjoy various media art works in their daily lives.
The district is expanding the use of the Media Glass by operating citizen participation content called ‘Yangjaecheon Bridge with Stories,’ which receives and broadcasts residents’ stories. Residents can send various stories they want to share, such as everyday small stories, special stories, celebration messages for anniversaries, or messages to family and acquaintances. Selected stories will be broadcast on the Media Glass once a week for about 10 minutes.
Seocho-gu hopes that through this content, the Yangjaecheon Media Glass will become a representative attraction within Yangjaecheon, along with the Yangjaecheon waterfront stage and the main sections of Yangjaecheon, Yeongdong Bridges 1 and 2. Residents who wish to participate can apply through the Seoul Public Reservation System, and for more details, they can contact the Water Management Division of Seocho-gu Office.
