Gyeonggi Tourism Organization Holds Orientation on 'Tourism Theme Alleys' for Alley Activists

On the 24th, the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization announced on the 25th that it held an orientation on themed alleys in the province at 'Baeknyeon Street' in Bukbyeon-dong, Gimpo, inviting local creators who work as alley activists. These activists either run businesses in the alleys or produce related content to promote the alleys directly to tourists.
Earlier this year, the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization selected a total of 37 people from 15 alley activist teams. They will be active from this month until October.
A representative from the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization said, "Through the creative activities of alley activists, we expect the themed alleys to become well-known to many people and to grow into alleys where diverse experiences are possible," adding, "We plan to actively support the activities of the alley activists."

Meanwhile, the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization’s ‘Gyeonggi-do Every Corner Tourism Themed Alley Project’ is a project that discovers and operates tourism content in alleys to develop them into representative tourist attractions of Gyeonggi-do. Since 2020, a total of 28 alleys have been discovered.
