View original imageThe Plant-Based Jigu Diet Luncheon Meat is a product that embodies Pulmuone Jigu Diet's direction of "making everyday meals plant-based" by creating a plant-based canned ham, a side dish preferred by consumers. Since its debut in December 2022, sales in the second half of last year increased by 145% compared to the first half, and it ranked among the top-selling products in some stores, competing with regular canned ham products.
Pulmuone confirmed that consumer demand for plant-based canned ham is considerable and plans to continue promoting canned ham products enjoyed in a plant-based way. In April, the company strengthened its plant-based canned ham lineup by launching the 'Luncheon Meat Garlic Flavor.' Additionally, the products have obtained vegan certification and environmental product declarations, aiming to spread the value of sustainability.
