National 3.15 Democratic Cemetery Management Office Accepts Postal and In-Person Applications from Elementary, Middle, and High Schools Nationwide from June 24 to August 12
The National March 15 Democratic Cemetery Management Office will hold the "March 15 Uprising Drawing Postcard Contest" from June 24 to August 12.
This contest, now in its 7th year, is open to elementary, middle, and high school students nationwide. The theme of the contest is "Our March 15 Stories in Everyday Life."
Participants can submit drawings that reflect the meaning of the March 15 Uprising or memories of visiting the cemetery, and may use images of monuments and other features within the March 15 Democratic Cemetery. Any type of painting is accepted. For details on how to enter, please visit the Management Office's website.
Director Hong Seongpyo said, "We organized this contest to reflect on the meaning of the March 15 Uprising and to provide an opportunity to share memories of the National March 15 Democratic Cemetery in daily life. We will continue to strive to develop various programs to realize 'living remembrance in everyday life, remembrance for all.'
