Incheon City Selects 10 Women-Friendly Companies... Supports Environmental Improvement and Employment Incentives
Incheon City announced on the 20th that it has selected 10 companies as '2024 Incheon-type Women-Friendly Companies,' recognized as workplaces where women can work well.
The selected women-friendly companies include Polina, Pinky Cosmetic, Vision Food, PBM, Total Living, HiQ, Food Tree, Gigi Food, Akara Tech, and Namdo Aekkot, totaling 10 companies chosen from various sectors such as manufacturing, wholesale and retail, and service industries.
These companies received high evaluations in areas such as the number of female workers, length of service, new hires, and operation of maternity protection systems to foster a women-friendly corporate culture.
Women-friendly companies are selected by evaluating 26 items including the status of female employment, work-life balance support, and welfare operation, targeting companies with 5 to fewer than 50 employees within the region.
The selected women-friendly companies receive support such as 10 million KRW for employee environment improvement projects including rest areas, nursing rooms, and restrooms; 1 million KRW hiring incentives per newly hired female worker; education to spread work-life balance culture; and corporate promotion. They can also receive continuous support for hiring female workers through linkage with the Women New Employment Center.
