KB Financial Group Recruiting Startups for 'KB Open Innovation Program'
KB Financial Group is recruiting startups with innovative ideas and technologies through the 'KB Open Innovation Program' until the 11th of next month.
According to KB Financial on the 20th, this program involves KB Kookmin Bank, KB Insurance, and KB Kookmin Card. The innovation tasks include 'Real-time AI Interpretation and Translation Service for Customer Centers (KB Kookmin Bank)', 'Insurance Claim Document Forgery Detection System (KB Insurance)', and 'Complete Automation of Phone Card Application Process (KB Kookmin Card)'. One or more startups will participate in each project.
Selected startups will receive funding necessary for actual commercialization verification (30 million KRW per task) and access to the Open Innovation Project Room within the Gangnam HUB operated by the KB Financial Innovation Hub. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to be selected as 'KB Starters'. KB Starters is the first startup incubation program in the financial sector, operating since 2015, having discovered 275 startups with a cumulative investment scale of 217.8 billion KRW.

Startups wishing to participate can apply through the KB Innovation Hub website. The final participating startups will be announced at the end of July.
