Son Seok-hee Returns to His Alma Mater After 11 Years... Summer Special with MBC
Appearance on 'Questions of Son Seok-hee'
Former JTBC president Sohn Suk-hee is returning to his original home, MBC, after 11 years. It has been 11 years since MBC Radio’s ‘Sohn Suk-hee’s Focus’ in 2013.
According to MBC on the 18th, former president Sohn Suk-hee will host a five-episode series titled ‘Sohn Suk-hee’s Questions,’ airing every Saturday at 8:45 PM starting next month on the 13th. The program will be paused during the Paris Olympics and is planned to conclude in August.

The MBC Current Affairs and Culture Department stated, "The guests are leading figures in their respective fields," adding, "It is a rare scene to have a long conversation on a single topic on television. The guests are also looking forward to the dialogue with Sohn Suk-hee."
‘Sohn Suk-hee’s Questions’ is a program that explores the concerns of various sectors of our society through interviews. The topics of the program are known to include ‘The Crisis of Small Businesses,’ ‘Challenges of Journalism in the Digital Age,’ ‘The Future of Cinema,’ ‘Thoughts on Aging,’ and ‘The Decline of Text.’
Former president Sohn joined MBC as an announcer in 1984 and moved to Sungshin Women’s University as a professor in 2006. Since 2013, he served as president of JTBC’s news division and was the anchor of ‘Newsroom.’ He also served as JTBC’s CEO in 2018.

After staying in Japan as a JTBC roving correspondent until his resignation last September, Sohn has been working as a visiting professor at Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, Japan, since April.
