View original imageThe total subscription limit for the 694th special ELB being sold this time is 5 billion KRW, and if the competition rate is high, allocation will be proportionally distributed according to the subscription amount per investor. Any remaining refund amount after allocation will be returned on the subscription closing date.
In the case of early redemption requested by the investor, a pre-tax annual interest rate of 3% will be earned on a pro-rata basis, and if the closing price of the underlying asset, Samsung Electronics common stock, exceeds 200% of the initial reference price on the maturity evaluation date, an additional yield of 0.01% of the investment amount will be paid.
Brokerage-type ISA accounts offer tax-exempt benefits up to 2 million KRW for general types, and up to 4 million KRW for the low-income type (total salary of 50 million KRW (comprehensive income amount of 38 million KRW or less and farmers and fishermen). For amounts exceeding this, separate taxation at a rate of 9.9% is applied, reducing the tax burden. However, if the account is terminated early during the mandatory subscription period, income tax equivalent to the tax special case will be reclaimed.
ELB is a stock-linked derivative bond, a bond-type product whose returns vary depending on the price fluctuations of the underlying asset. It is a low-risk product where principal and returns are paid, but if a credit event (bankruptcy, default) occurs with the issuer, principal loss may occur. Kiwoom Securities’ credit rating is AA- (as of 2024.03.25, Korea Ratings).
