Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 18th that it held the ‘2022 Revised Curriculum Field Application Training’ for high school curriculum coordinators in the province at Boseong Davichi Condo.
This training discussed the main contents of the 2022 revised curriculum under the theme, ‘With the introduction of the 2022 revised curriculum, what role should schools play for student growth?’

View original imageThe training aimed to enhance the literacy of curriculum coordinators and discussed plans for organizing and operating the three-year curriculum for incoming high school freshmen next year to strengthen student autonomy.
Participants reviewed the national-level curriculum, the ‘2022 Revised Curriculum,’ and the regional-level curriculum, the ‘Jeonnam Province High School Curriculum,’ and explored ways to expand student choice in curriculum operation.
They shared information on the direction and precautions for organizing and operating the curriculum for high school freshmen in the 2025 academic year, which will be applied for the first time under the 2022 revised curriculum, compliance with credit requirements, and considerations when organizing subjects.
In particular, 10 members of the high school curriculum field support group also attended to provide school-tailored support through a preliminary Q&A session for organizing and operating the 2025 high school freshmen curriculum, which will be submitted for the first time at the end of August.
