Korean Air Showcases Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Technology at Defense Exhibition
Korean Air announced that it will participate in the 2024 Korea Defense Industry Development Exhibition held in Daejeon for three days starting from the 17th. This event is a defense industry exhibition jointly hosted by Daejeon City, the Army Education and Logistics Command, and the Agency for Defense Development, with about 230 domestic defense companies participating. Korean Air plans to showcase advanced weapon system platforms and technologies at this exhibition. Leading with the recently mass-produced medium-altitude unmanned aerial vehicle, it will present strike-type drones and a new concept future vertical takeoff and landing unmanned aerial vehicle. The military helicopter UH-60 will also be exhibited. Known as the Black Hawk, Korean Air began domestic production of this model in 1990 and has delivered over 130 units.
