The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism appointed Jeong Yong-seok as the president of the National Museum Cultural Foundation on the 14th. The term of office is three years.
President Jeong is an expert with professionalism and drive in exhibition planning. He graduated from the Department of Broadcasting Arts Management at Temple University and earned a master's degree in International Business from Kyung Hee University Graduate School of Business. He has extensive experience in the exhibition art field, having served as president of the Korea Art Exhibition Planning Association, vice president of GNC Media, and vice president of the Korea Art Copyright Management Association.

Yoo In-chon, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, stated, "The National Museum Cultural Foundation must actively respond to the changing public expectations from quantitative expansion to qualitative improvement of cultural services," and added, "We expect the new president to contribute to diversifying museum content and improving service quality based on his experience and expertise."
