Busan Office of Education Strengthens Evaluation Design Competency Based on '2022 Revised Curriculum'
Three-Day Training for Over 680 Elementary School Teachers
Strengthening Teachers' Teaching and Assessment Competencies for Greater Effectiveness
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education will conduct a training program titled "Assessment Design Based on the 2022 Revised Curriculum" for approximately 680 elementary school teachers over three days, starting from the 17th. The training will be held at the main auditorium of the Busan Education Research and Information Institute and online via ZOOM.
This training aims to strengthen teachers' competencies in lessons and assessments based on the 2022 revised curriculum and to enhance the quality of assessment as a learning process that supports student growth.
The Office of Education has prepared three lectures covering the theory and practice of lesson and assessment design, as well as effective ways to utilize Edutech for lessons and assessments.
Participating teachers can choose the lecture most relevant to their needs among the three offered, in order to strengthen their assessment design skills.
The training on the 17th and 18th will take place at 2:50 PM at the Busan Education Research and Information Institute. On the 17th, Son Junho, the lead teacher at Gwangju Seoil Elementary School, will give a lecture on "Assessment and Feedback in the 2022 Revised Curriculum." On the 18th, Bae Jaehyun, a teacher at Namhang Elementary School, will present on "The Practice of Lessons and Assessment in the 2022 Revised Curriculum."
The training on the 19th will feature a lecture by Kim Sungeun, a teacher at Gunsan Elementary School, on "Utilizing Edutech for Effective Assessment Management." Kim will introduce various Edutech tools and practical methods for applying them in lessons and assessments. This session will be conducted in real-time online via ZOOM to allow participants to practice on their PCs.
