This drill was conducted assuming a situation where localized heavy rain caused flooding at Guam Station's facilities and tracks, resulting in train service suspension.
To enhance the effectiveness of the drill, the president directed the drill situation and it was carried out as an unannounced drill without prior notice of time and place.
The drill strengthened on-site initial response and emergency recovery system capabilities through unannounced situation occurrence and dissemination, rapid passenger evacuation, establishment and operation of an accident response headquarters, and cooperation with related organizations for site restoration.
