Wolsong Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power sponsored the '4th Daejongcheon Sweetfish Fry Release Event,' during which 100,000 sweetfish fry were released into Daejongcheon, the river representing Munmu-daewang-myeon.
Wolseong Nuclear Power Headquarters is releasing 100,000 juvenile sweetfish into Daejong Stream, a river in Munmu Daewang-myeon, and taking a group photo.
View original imageThis event was organized by the Munmu-daewang-myeon Development Council and supported by the Wolsong Headquarters. Distinguished guests such as Kang Shinwon, Chairman of the Gampo-eup Development Council, and Lim Jaeyoon, Chief of Munmu-daewang-myeon, attended and participated in the release of 100,000 sweetfish fry.
The Daejongcheon area, renowned as a sacred place for outdoor camping and car camping, has long been famous for sweetfish, which only inhabit clear waters.
The sweetfish fry released this time are expected to thrive in the Daejongcheon area and become a symbol representing the pristine natural environment of Munmu-daewang-myeon.
Kim Hanseong, Head of Wolsong Nuclear Power Headquarters, stated, "This year marks the fourth year that Wolsong Headquarters has supported the Daejongcheon sweetfish release event," and added, "Wolsong Headquarters will continue to participate in the Daejongcheon sweetfish fry release event and strive for mutual growth with the local community."
