Samsung C&T Fashion Launches 'Anggae'... First Women's Wear Brand Targeting MZ Generation
SSF Shop Accelerates Domestic and International Business in the US, Japan, China, and More
Samsung C&T Fashion Division announced on the 11th that it will launch a women's clothing brand targeting the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z) called ‘ANGGAE’.
ANGGAE is a contemporary women's clothing brand that pursues a young and trendy sensibility with feminine designs. The brand philosophy is to boldly and sensually express the silhouette of the human body, naturally revealing its inherent beauty.
Based on a youthful sensibility, ANGGAE plans to build a distinctive brand identity and expand its business both domestically and internationally. The brand emphasizes materials and details that can sensually express femininity and presents designs that reveal newness through natural beauty achieved by layering.
For this summer season, various knits and crinkle jersey materials that fit well to the body while offering good flexibility were used. For the fall and winter seasons, the brand showcases styling through layering with contrasting smooth and fluffy surfaces, as well as soft and plush textures.
The season’s key products include knit setups made with two-tone yarns reflecting ANGGAE’s unique color feel, tops and asymmetrical dresses with shirring details on stretchy jersey materials, mesh layering mini skirts with shirring details on both sides, and knit tube tops with multiple slits that can be layered in various ways.
Samsung C&T plans to simultaneously enter both the Korean and global markets to expand its business. Domestically, the brand will be developed mainly through the fashion and lifestyle specialty mall SSF Shop, while in the United States, Japan, China, and other countries, distribution will be expanded starting with major select shops.
ANGGAE is the first women's clothing brand introduced by Samsung C&T Fashion Division this year. The company has been expanding its women's fashion portfolio by launching new brands such as Cotelo, Sand Sound, and The Aperture.
