Gwangyang City Council Opens the 328th Regular Session
11-Day Schedule Until the 20th
Review of 11 Agenda Items Including the 2023 Fiscal Year Settlement Approval Proposal
The Gwangyang City Council of Jeollanam-do (Chairman Seo Young-bae) announced on the 10th that it opened the 1st plenary session of the 328th regular meeting and began an 11-day legislative schedule until the 20th.
During this regular meeting, a total of 11 agenda items will be processed, including the approval of the 2023 fiscal year settlement and supplementary budget expenditures, as well as ordinances and general matters.
The City Council will review the submitted agenda items by each standing committee from the 11th to the 14th, hold a special budget and settlement committee from the 17th to the 19th, and finally, on the 20th, the 2nd plenary session will be held to approve various agenda items and conclude the regular meeting.
The ordinances proposed by council members include four items: the Ordinance on Prevention and Treatment Support for Gambling Addiction in Gwangyang City (Councilor Kim Bora), the Partial Amendment Ordinance on Support for Survival Swimming Education in Gwangyang City (Councilor Kim Jeong-im), the Ordinance on Activation of Food Donation in Gwangyang City (Councilor Jeong Gu-ho), and the Complete Amendment Ordinance on Support for Middle-aged and Older Adults in Gwangyang City (Councilor Park Cheol-su).
Chairman Seo Young-bae stated, “In the upcoming settlement review scheduled for this regular meeting, we will carefully examine whether last year’s budget was executed as originally intended and whether there was any waste, striving to help establish a transparent and efficient financial management direction.”
