A Total of 325 Million Won Donated for Injured Coast Guard Medical Expenses and Scholarships for Children of Fallen Officers

S-OIL (CEO: Anwar Al Hejazi) delivered 325 million KRW in sponsorship funds for the Coast Guard Heroes Support Program at its headquarters in Mapo, Seoul, on the 10th, together with the Korea National Council on Social Welfare (Chairman: Kim Sungyi).
The sponsorship funds will be used for medical expenses for injured coast guard officers, scholarships for children of fallen coast guard officers, and awards for coast guard heroes.
On this day, S-OIL CEO Al Hejazi stated, "The coast guard officers who risk their lives to save others in dangerous maritime situations are the true heroes of our society," and added, "S-OIL will continue to stand as a strong supporter of the coast guard."
Since 2013, S-OIL has signed an agreement with the Korea Coast Guard and the Korea National Council on Social Welfare for the 'Coast Guard Heroes Support Program' to boost the morale of coast guard officers who dedicate themselves at the frontlines to protect Korea's maritime territory and safeguard the lives and property of its people through activities such as rescuing distressed vessels, preventing marine pollution, and cracking down on illegal fishing.
Since then, S-OIL has continuously held ceremonies to deliver sponsorship funds for various coast guard programs and to honor coast guard heroes.
