Suncheonhyang University Cheonan Hospital announced on the 7th that it has achieved a Grade 1 rating for the third consecutive time in the appropriateness evaluation of neonatal intensive care units conducted by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service.
In the evaluation conducted on 86 medical institutions nationwide that provided inpatient care in neonatal intensive care units from October 2022 to March 2023, Suncheonhyang University Hospital excelled in all indicators, including the number of beds per dedicated specialist, the ratio of specialists dedicated to neonatal subspecialties, the presence of necessary treatments (pediatric surgery, pediatric cardiology), and meeting the minimum bed count criteria.
