Gyeonggi-do to Independently Establish Administrative Service Charter for 'Directly Affiliated Agencies, Business Offices, and Branch Offices'
Gyeonggi Province revised its 'Administrative Service Charter' and announced it on the 7th.
The Administrative Service Charter specifically outlines the standards and content of services provided by administrative agencies, the methods and procedures for providing them, as well as corrections and compensation for faulty services.
Gyeonggi Province announced on the 7th that it restructured the system so that the Administrative Service Charters, which were previously established collectively, are now established and managed separately by affiliated administrative agencies such as direct agencies, business offices, and branch offices. This is a measure to strengthen the accountability of each agency head.
To revise the Administrative Service Charter, Gyeonggi Province held a deliberation committee from the 24th to the 28th of last month, addressing a total of 45 proposals for establishment, revision, and abolition, including 26 establishment proposals, 11 revision proposals, and 8 abolition proposals, aimed at reorganizing the management system of the charter and improving its operation.
Going forward, Gyeonggi Province will conduct periodic monitoring to ensure that the Administrative Service Charters of each agency are properly implemented and will seek ways to better reflect the opinions of residents.
