TaylorMade Expands Golf Ball Korea New Factory
World Demand and Supply Scheduled in Chungju, Chungbuk
Focus on Digital Technology and Modernization
TaylorMade is expanding its new factory for TaylorMade Golf Ball Korea (TMBK).
On the 4th, a completion ceremony was held in Cheongju, Chungbuk. After acquiring Nassso Golf Co., Ltd. in 2021, TaylorMade established TMBK and has invested significant resources in TMBK to meet global demand and develop innovative technologies.
With the completion of this new factory, along with factories in South Carolina, USA, and Taiwan, TaylorMade plans to satisfy the worldwide demand for TaylorMade golf balls. TaylorMade explained, "Through the expansion of the new factory, we focused on increasing production of urethane and ionomer golf balls, improving infrastructure, and emphasizing digital technology and modernization."
The new factory will initially produce cast urethane 5-piece TP5/TP5X, 3-piece Tour Response, and ionomer golf balls such as Speedsoft. Additionally, using modernized digital printing technology, it will produce TaylorMade’s visual technology products including TP5/TP5X Pix, TP5/TP5X Korea Pix, My Symbol, Tour Response Stripe, and Speedsoft Ink.
