Campus Tour of ASM and IMEC for University Students Aged 19-24
The Gyeonggi-do Hwaseong City Talent Development Foundation is recruiting the 5th group of the global talent development program 'Hwaseong into Technopole' called the 'Europe with ASM Exploration Team.'
The exploration team will visit ASM headquarters in the Netherlands, a global semiconductor equipment company, and IMEC Tower in Leuven, Belgium, the largest semiconductor research institute in Europe, from August 19 to 28. They will engage in international exchange activities with local university students and experience various infrastructures.
The team will receive two sessions of pre-capacity-building training, including global leadership, foreign languages, and safety education. After the exploration, based on the knowledge and information gained, they plan to propose policies applicable to Hwaseong City through workshops and performance sharing sessions.
Applicants must be university students aged 19 to 24 who have resided in Hwaseong City for more than one year as of the announcement date, either themselves or through their legal guardians. The foundation will support 6.6 million KRW of the 7.2 million KRW exploration cost, with the applicant responsible for 600,000 KRW.
Those interested can apply online through the Hwaseong City Talent Development Foundation website by the 17th. The foundation will announce successful candidates on the 3rd of next month after document screening and in-depth interviews.
Lim Seon-il, the foundation's representative, said, "We hope this program will provide students with a foundation to succeed on the global stage and offer valuable experiences to gain new perspectives and insights."
