Drunk U.S. Soldier in Korea Arrested for Street Disturbance
A U.S. military serviceman stationed in South Korea was arrested for causing a disturbance on the street while intoxicated.
According to the police on the 4th, the Mapo Police Station in Seoul arrested a foreign male, Mr. A, on charges of property damage.
Mr. A is suspected of causing a disturbance while drunk on the 1st in a street in Mapo-gu, Seoul, including pushing over a signboard and punching a truck's side mirror.
The police, who responded to the report, apprehended Mr. A about 100 meters away from the scene of the disturbance. At the time of arrest, there was no indication that Mr. A had taken drugs or other substances.

A police official stated, "We need to hand him over to the U.S. military police and conduct further investigation in the presence of relevant personnel," adding, "We are investigating the detailed circumstances of the incident, including the motive."
