KSA Hosts Video Contest Celebrating 50 Years of Quality
Commemorating the 50th National Quality Management Conference and National Quality Control Circle Competition
The Korea Standards Association announced on the 4th that it will hold a video contest for the entire nation on the theme of quality improvement cases in daily life to commemorate the 50th National Quality Management Convention and the National Quality Control Circle Competition.
Since their inception in 1975, these two competitions have been credited with strengthening the quality competitiveness of Korean companies over the past 50 years, contributing to the enhancement of Korea's status as a manufacturing powerhouse. The 50th National Quality Management Convention is scheduled to be held in Seoul in November, and the 50th National Quality Control Circle Competition will take place in Suwon City in August.
Outstanding entries in the contest will be awarded on the day of the National Quality Control Circle Competition with the Gyeonggi Province Governor's Award (2 prizes), the President of the National Institute of Technology and Standards Award (2 prizes), the Korea Standards Association President's Award (2 prizes), and Excellence Awards (5 prizes), along with separate prize money.
